To apply, please provide a cover letter, curriculum vitae, a teaching statement, a service statement, and a few representative samples of course materials (such as homework assignments or projects) that you created. Please arrange for at least four letters of recommendation to be submitted directly by the recommenders, at least two them should focus on your teaching and mentoring experience and two of them should focus on organizational skills and service work. The cover letter should address your commitment to the liberal arts and to promoting diversity in the discipline of mathematics. The teaching statement should briefly address both your overall philosophy concerning teaching introductory calculus and a detailed description of how you teach your classes and would adapt your teaching to Colby. The service statement should describe your service, outreach, and organizational experience, focusing on your leadership roles and coordination with others.
