About Immaculata University:
Immaculata University, founded in 1920 by the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, is a Catholic, coeducational institution of higher learning, located on the Main Line between Malvern and Exton, 20 miles west of Philadelphia. The University offers fifty-three undergraduate majors, seven master degree programs, three doctoral degree programs, and over forty additional certification programs, including a selection of accelerated and online programs. Immaculata employs over 330 faculty and staff, who together with the Sisters serve approximately 2,500 students.

Job Description:
The Department of Psychology and Counseling at Immaculata University has an opening for a full-time, 12-month tenure-track, Assistant Professor* /Director of the Psy.D. program.

The Director of the Psy.D. Program is responsible for supervising all aspects of the Psy.D. program, including admissions, agenda, curriculum, course rosters, adjuncts, handbooks, newsletters, faculty course evaluation reviews, student program plans, Comprehensive Examination, annual CoA-ARO reporting, accreditation, budget, students and student-faculty relations, and annual clinical core faculty reviews submitted to the Office of the Vice-President for Academic Affairs and Provost.

The Director of the Psy.D. program serves on the Graduate Academic Policy Committee and can also serve as Chair of the Department of Psychology and Counseling by departmental faculty election. If the same person holds both positions, this person reports to the College of Graduate Studies Dean. The Director of the Psy.D. program represents the program to the University and interfaces with members of the University's executive administration as needed to consult, advocate, and report. The Director of the Psy.D. program has teaching credits transferred to program coordination and management responsibilities.

Requirements:
Candidates must possess a Psy.D. or Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, graduated an APA accredited program and APA accredited internship, have teaching experience, be licensed in Pennsylvania. A demonstrated record of scholarly work defined broadly (e.g., community engagement, educational leadership, innovation, investigation and research) is preferred.

Successful candidates will also have a demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and multicultural competence in an educational and work environment and must be willing to contribute to the University's strategic plan. The successful candidate must have superior organizational skills and demonstrated interpersonal communication acumen.
