The College of Nursing at the University of  South Alabama (USA) invites applications and nominations for a Director of Assessment, Accreditation and Faculty Affairs.  As a 12-month non-tenure track faculty member, the Director will provide leadership for assessment and accreditation activities for all programs, assist with faculty affairs and development initiatives, and teach courses. The Director will report to the Dean of the College and collaborate with the Director for Special Projects and Evaluation and the Associate Dean for Research, Evaluation and Faculty Development for the College.

 

Candidates with experience in assessment, accreditation and faculty affairs within a nursing program are encouraged to apply. Appointments may be made at the rank of associate or full professor, commensurate with experience.

 

Qualifications

  • Earned doctoral degree
  • Sustained record of scholarship to include external research funding
  • Demonstrated qualities as a leader and collaborator
  • Administrative experience
  • Experience with assessment and accreditation preferred
  • Experience in promoting faculty development
