APPOINTMENT: Associate Professor, Adjunct, or Professor in the Practice of Violin beginning fall semester, 2021, with an initial appointment of three to five years, depending on qualifications. Appointment renewable with review during the penultimate year. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Position is full-time and includes all faculty benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach graduate violin performance students, coach chamber music ensembles, and teach in the String Seminar; maintain a professional, international profile that reflects the career of a distinguished teacher/performer; and contribute as a faculty member to all facets of the string area and the School of Music.

QUALIFICATIONS: Proven national/international and distinction as a performing artist and pedagogue.  Demonstrated successful teaching experience at the graduate level, and the ability to attract and recruit gifted graduate students.
