University Dean for Libraries and Information Resources
The City University of New York (CUNY) seeks a dynamic, visionary leader to serve as University Dean for Libraries and Information Resources and guide the federation of 31 campus libraries and 24 colleges. The University Dean provides strategic vision and leadership in developing, implementing and assessing CUNY library initiatives and digital resources for the University, and takes a lead role in the integration of CUNY libraries and digital resources with teaching, learning, and research activities at CUNY. The University Dean establishes a strategic vision for CUNY Libraries and digital resources for curriculum development, student learning and research, and faculty scholarship. The University Dean will advance the library as a bridge with other academic departments to create digital collaborations where students and faculty can explore innovative approaches to information technologies, data, and digital services.
