Under the direction of the Executive Director of Annual Giving, the Associate Director works to involve alumni, parents, and friends in the life of the College and supports the College’s financial goals with a strong emphasis on fundraising efforts with our reunion alumni, graduate alumni, parents, past parents, and faculty/staff. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  •  Developing and executing fundraising initiatives to increase contributions to the Fund for McDaniel.
  • Developing and implementing an action plan that supports fundraising initiatives.
  • Creating and managing effective, multichannel solicitation, stewardship, and marketing pieces.
  • Generating unrestricted annual gifts towards an annual financial goal through the identification, cultivation, and solicitation of an assigned portfolio of 60 – 75 prospects including face-to-face visits, email, and telephone.
  • Identifying and managing non-GOLD reunion alumni, graduate alumni, parents, past parents, and faculty/staff to assist with increasing membership within the Founders Society.
  • Coordinating donor recognition to steward donors to improve rates of renewal and upgrades of annual gifts.
  • Collaborating with other members of the division in fundraising efforts.
  • Participating in annual and long-range planning for the Fund for McDaniel.
