Post-Doc Research Associate 20-047

Old Dominion University’s Virginia Modeling Analysis and Simulation Center is seeking applications for employment as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate to perform research supporting the development and testing of AI Management Models. Candidate must have the ability to build prototypes for data manipulation with visual interfaces (e.g., dashboard) for design, validation, and solution testing.  They will perform research in support of complex network analysis and big data as the networks under study interoperate with variety of data sources in real-time.  The applicant needs to be able to manage, interface, and generate GIS-based information, support UML diagrams/description generation, and model and simulate operations management environments. Ph.D. required in computer science, modeling & simulation, computer engineering or an equivalent field.
