Husson University's College of Science and Humanities invites
applications for a full-time 18-month Visiting Assistant Professor
of Microbiology to begin in spring 2021. Teaching responsibilities
will include microbiology, introductory biology, and upper-level
courses within the candidate's area of specialization. This
position complements existing programmatic and faculty expertise in
the College of Science and Humanities, which currently offers
undergraduate degrees in Health Sciences, Biology, and Exercise
Science. Science faculty also teach foundational courses for
students enrolled in the pre-professional phases of the Nursing,
Physical Therapy, and Pharmacy programs at the university. The
Husson science faculty have a strong tradition of including
undergraduate students in faculty research projects, thus providing
experiential learning opportunities for students in our majors. The
successful candidate is expected to fulfill the institutional
expectations for teaching, departmental service, and support for
undergraduate research experiences.Husson University is a private

students located in Bangor, Maine. The University is dedicated to
