The School of Nursing at Notre Dame of Maryland University, Baltimore, MD is expanding several programs, specifically on-ground and hybrid Accelerated Second-Degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs. The School of Nursing is seeking a doctoral prepared full-time faculty member with a specialization in C hildren and Families (Pediatrics) for appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. This position begins fall semester 2020.

Candidates will articulate a commitment to teaching undergraduate students, primarily in the BSN program, which includes two pathways - traditional and accelerated second-degree. Additionally, this position may also include teaching day, and evening in adult undergraduate and graduate nursing programs, as needed, on and off campus; and online.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will be prepared at the doctoral level, with a PhD preferred. Candidates with a Doctor of Nursing Practice are encouraged to apply. MSN-prepared candidates with clinical experience and expertise will be considered with the expectation for enrollment in a doctoral program of study within one year of hire and program completion within five years of hire. Candidates with prior teaching experience at the collegiate level are preferred. Active RN license in Maryland or compact state required.
