Job Details
Rowan University’s School of Osteopathic Medicine is currently seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse to join its Department of Geriatrics and Gerontology, Division of Geriatric Psychiatry. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team serving Geriatric patients across a broad spectrum of settings including Assisted Living, Subacute/Skilled Nursing and Long-term Care. In support of the School of Medicine’s mission and vision, this is a faculty position, with opportunities to teach.
Working collaboratively with our Geriatric Psychiatry team, the Advanced Practice Nurse provides care and education to patients across the continuum of care environments. The APN also provides education to staff in those facilities and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
Valid NJ Nursing License with Prescriptive Authority
Advanced Nursing Degree (APN)
CDS
DEA
Certification in Psychiatry Mental Health
