The Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Florida is seeking applicants who wish to pursue an academic career in Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, multi-mission track. The Candidate will become part of our current group of 14 faculty and 15 Residents. The candidate will provide both inpatient and outpatient services. The candidate will also be responsible for teaching residents, fellows and medical students assigned to the inpatient and outpatient services. The desired candidate should possess a strong commitment to both clinical practice as well as resident teaching.

For those candidates with a keen interest in pursuing research as part of their academic career, the UF College of Medicine is a superb location to practice as it offers excellent intramural funding opportunities in addition to traditional government funding mechanisms. In 2019, NIH funding at the UF College of Medicine exceeded $250M. Protected time for research is available for qualified candidates who receive research funding. Mentorship from experienced faculty members will be provided for candidates without prior independent research experience and/or funding.

Salary, rank and tenure status will be commensurate with experience.

Required Qualifications: Applicant must be board certified or board eligible, and licensed (or eligible) to practice in Florida.

Preferred Qualifications: Strong interest in clinical care, teaching and research. Fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery is preferred.
