Post-Doctoral Research Associate - Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning 20-050

Old Dominion University’s Virginia Modeling Analysis and Simulation Center is seeking applications for employment as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate to support research in AI security in the U.S. Department of Defense Center of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The Center of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning will explore the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) in vital civilian applications and multidomain operations. The postdoctoral research associate will be expected to develop techniques for trustworthy ML systems. We are looking for candidates with proven track in both Cybersecurity and AI.

1. Develop trustworthy machine learning (ML) solutions for civilian applications and multidomain military operations.
2. Present research findings at scientific conferences, publish research results in peer-reviewed scientific journals, and participate in the writing of research grant applications.

This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefit program.  Salary commensurate with skills and experience. Open until filled.
