Pace University's Lienhard School of Nursing in the College of Health Professions is seeking a Full-time Tenure Track Member to join our faculty at the New York City or Westchester campus located in Pleasantville, NY. 

The College of Health Professions is a thriving academic community within a University that is ranked #1 among private, four-year colleges for upward economic mobility by Harvard University’s Opportunity Insights. We seek one new tenure track faculty member to teach in our graduate nursing department. Candidates should have a strong desire to teach master’s and doctoral students.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications: 

  • Will have a PhD, EdD, or other research doctorate(s), and national certification as either a Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult-Gero Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and be eligible for New York State RN licensure and NYS certification as a FNP/AGACNP
  • Teaching experience (Academic rank and salary is commensurate with educational preparation and experience).
  • Current clinical practice experience in either the FNP or AGACNP role.
  • An active program of research, and a track record of publications and grant activity.

  • Will share a deep commitment to effective teaching, development of innovative courses, and mentorship of students.
  • Will be expected to contribute to research through publications and extramural funding (required for tenure track).

  • Will engage in professional service within the University and beyond.

About the College of Health Professions:

Established in 2010, the College of Health Professions at Pace University offers a broad range of programs at the bachelor, master, and doctoral levels. It is the College’s goal to create innovative and complex programs that reflect the changing landscape of the health care system. These programs are designed to prepare graduates for impactful careers in health care practice, health-related research, or as educators, and equip graduates to work in health policy and global health fields.
