Winona State University seeks applications for one or more Assistant Professor/Associate Professor of Ethnic Studies positions. These positions are probationary/tenure-track appointments with an expected start date of August 16, 2021. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for teaching a variety of courses in Ethnic Studies. Additional responsibilities include (1) engaging in scholarly research or creative achievement to enhance your knowledge of the field; (2) providing evidence of continuing preparation and study in the field to enhance your teaching abilities; (3) contributing to student growth and development including student advising; (4) serving the university and community including the program, the department, the college, the university, and the greater community; and (5) supporting Winona State University's mission to enhance the intellectual, social, cultural, and economic vitality of the people and communities we serve. Minimum qualifications for this position are an earned PhD in Ethnic Studies or a closely related field by date of appointment and experience teaching college-level courses in Ethnic Studies and/or a closely related field.
