Position Purpose: The Behavioral Intervention Team Case Manager supports learning by coordinating intervention and support efforts to assist students facing crises, experiencing life stressors, and encountering barriers that impede success. This non-clinical position is designed to aid the institution in promoting student safety and success.

Education:
- Masters in a mental health-related discipline (e.g. Social Work, Counseling) required.
- Licensed or license-eligible as a mental health provider in the state of Illinois preferred.
Experience:
- Full-time, professional experience in higher education or related field required.
- Experience providing crisis intervention.
Skills:
- Detail-orientated with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to develop strong collaborative working relationships with all campus constituencies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with a diverse group of faculty, staff, students and parents.
- Knowledge of student data and communication systems
- Flexibility with evening and weekend work hours.
Special Requirements:
- Eligible for state licensure as a mental health provider as outlined by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (www.idfpr.com).
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting, standing, moving about campus, and computer use.
