Clinical Assistant Professor of Marketing and Professional Sales

Department of Marketing and Professional Sales

 

The Department of Marketing and Professional Sales in the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University is seeking applications for a full-time, nine-month, non-tenure track Clinical Assistant Professor of Marketing and Professional Sales faculty position for the Executive MBA Program beginning March 2021. The department strongly encourages applicants from diverse candidates.

 

The primary teaching responsibilities will be marketing related courses in our dynamic Executive MBA (EMBA) program with the course equivalent of a 3/4 teaching load. The KSU EMBA program is a cohort based 19-month experiential MBA model. The program concentrates on holistic leadership while providing cutting–edge global teaming, program-long executive coaching and an integrated curriculum designed for professionals ready to advance their

careers. Classes meet one weekend per month on both Saturday and Sunday. The position entails being a faculty team lead responsible for the coordination and logistics for an Executive MBA course. Clinical faculty are also expected to support the mission of the Coles College of Business and interact with the Department of Marketing and Professional Sales.

 

Candidates must have earned a Ph.D. in Marketing or related field from an AACSB (or foreign equivalent) accredited university.

 

Candidates should demonstrate research capabilities, the ability to teach EMBA level courses, and the ability to mentor executive students. Candidates are expected to engage in other EMBA programs, department, college, and university activities. Applicants with an interest in teaching one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply: marketing, marketing strategy, sales management, and international marketing. Due to the educator-practitioner nature of this position, candidates must have a significant amount of business experience. Candidates should also have a history of professional engagement in local, regional, and/or professional organizations.
