Job Description:

The Graham School of Business at York College of Pennsylvania seeks applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor position, in Supply Chain Operations Management beginning in August 2021. The selected candidate will initially teach courses in decision modeling & simulation, purchasing management, and business statistics at the undergraduate level and business analytics at the graduate level. Depending on the individual's interests and experience, additional courses in Supply Chain will be available. The Supply Chain Operations Management group offers courses in operations management, logistics, purchasing, Lean systems, quality management, continuous improvement, statistics, econometrics, and business analytics.


Requirements:

Applicants should have earned a PhD, DBA, or international equivalent from an accredited university in the field of Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or a closely related discipline by the start of the initial contract period. The successful candidate should also demonstrate excellent communication skills, provide evidence of being a subject matter expert through teaching, and published or in process scholarly work in peer reviewed journals. Commitment to working as part of a collaborative team, relevant business or consulting experience is highly desirable.
