The Department of Comparative Cultural Studies at the University of Houston invites applications for a position as part-time lecturer to teach courses in Anthropology, with a specialization in Biological Anthropology and Forensic Anthropology. This course is a combined undergraduate/graduate course, Introduction to Forensic Anthropology, and provides instruction in an important area of applied anthropology, a potential career path for biological anthropologists. This is a non-tenure track position and lecturer appointments are made on a semester basis.

Qualifications :

The successful candidate should have a PhD and have experience as a Forensic Anthropologist. Preferably the candidate should also be a Diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Anthropology, the highest professional qualification. This assures that the candidate has passed tests and also has experience with actual cases.
