The Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Eastern Kentucky University is accepting applications for a tenure-track, Assistant/Associate Professor to teach in the education professional core beginning August 2021. Applicants should demonstrate expertise in one or more of the following: educational foundations, child development, curriculum and instruction, differentiation, or assessment. The candidate may supervise clinical experiences in area schools, advise undergraduate and/or graduate education candidates, and collaborate with other faculty to align programmatic goals with professional standards and outcomes. A minimum of three years of successful teaching in K-12 environments is required. Professional service, publications in professional scholarly journals, and presentations at the state, regional, and national levels are expected. Preference given to candidates who can provide evidence of grant writing or awards and to those with a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction.
This is a 9-month contract.
