Berry College seeks a Director of International Experiences with a vision for increasing the number of students with international experiences and cultivating broader faculty engagement with the program.  The director oversees the college's education abroad experiences, including semester and summer study, faculty-led summer programs, service and internship opportunities. Successful applicants will demonstrate a strong record of serving students from a wide range of disciplines, cultures, and academic backgrounds.

In particular, the director advises students planning to study abroad, support Berry faculty-led Short-Term International Programs, organize campus events and presentations, maintain the International Experiences website (including the Terra Dotta platform), oversee scholarships for study abroad and development grants for faculty, maintain and build relationships with international partners and program service providers, and other duties as assigned by the Associate Provost. 

The director will also collaborate with Director of Student Diversity Initiatives to welcome and orient international students studying at Berry and increase the global diversity experiences of the students on our campus. The director will serve as one of the college's Designated School Officials (DSO).



A bachelor's degree (master's degree preferred) and at least three to five years of experience in the area of education abroad.
