Landmark College seeks an Assistant Professor in Education beginning Fall 2021. This is a great opportunity to be part of a college whose mission is to transform the way students learn, educators teach, and the public thinks about education. We provide highly accessible approaches to learning that empower individuals who learn differently to exceed their aspirations and to achieve their greatest potential.

The successful candidate will be interested in working with our neurodiverse student population in course work designed to foster self-awareness, critical thinking, strategic learning, and self-advocacy and will have the opportunity to shape new courses and work with students at different levels of the curriculum. The preferred candidate will have experience teaching first year college students, mentorships and developing practicum experiences for juniors and seniors.  The faculty member will have an interest in educational psychology, cognition, pedagogy, and educational theory.  Opportunities to work with the Landmark College Institute for Research and Training as well as the new Center for Neurodiversity are available.

QUALIFICATIONS: A doctoral degree in Education or a related field is preferred (master’s degree considered). A working understanding of the nature of specific learning disabilities and teaching experience at the college level is highly desirable.  A desire to work with students who have a diagnosed learning disability, ADHD, or Autism Spectrum disorder is preferred.
