Assistant Professor of Nursing
Thomas More University, located in Crestview Hills, KY, in the Greater Cincinnati Area is a small, private Catholic liberal arts university, offering undergraduate and graduate programs. All members of the community must commit to advancing the University’s Catholic mission and values.
The Department of Nursing invites applicants to apply for a full-time, renewable, assistant professorship beginning August 2021. Ph.D. from a regionally accredited university is required. Reporting to the Department Chairperson, this position provides didactic, clinical, and laboratory instruction. Faculty are responsible for quality teaching, continued scholarly engagement, and service to Thomas More University, including participation in Nursing department, college, and university-wide meetings and committees. Faculty members must support the overall philosophy and goals of the nursing program, the College of Education and Health Sciences, and Thomas More University.
Qualified candidates will have experience in nursing in appropriate area of responsibility with corresponding credentials and a current unencumbered licensure or eligibility for license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kentucky. RN licensure in additional states may be required to teach at clinical sites.
