The Senior Analyst for Grants Administration and Compliance is a key member of the grants administration team at the College, and serves as a liaison between the Controller’s Office, the Office of Sponsored Research, and the Corporate & Foundation Relations department. The Senior Financial Analyst demonstrates knowledge of the Federal Uniform Guidance Act in order to provide financial oversight to faculty and academic administrators at all stages of the grant process, primarily post-award compliance. The position is highly visible and dynamic requiring excellent communication and time management skills. Applicants should have the demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment. The Senior Financial Analyst also maintains grant accounting in the general ledger, and assists the Associate Controller with restricted funds accounting as needed.

Education/Skills Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in accounting or finance. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical, customer service and interpersonal skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Attention to detail is a must. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) is necessary.

Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents

A minimum of 3 years’ accounting and/or grant administration experience is required; experience with grants management and compliance, and/or work in a non-profit setting is preferred

Standard Work Days and Hours

8:30 am to 5:00 pm or as scheduled with supervisor. This is a salaried position requiring the time commitment necessary to satisfactorily complete job requirements.
