ASDOH - Sterilization/Ortho Dental Assistant Float (part-time)

A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) is seeking applications for a part-time Sterilization/Ortho Dental Assistant Float to work at the Mesa, Arizona clinic.

Job duties:

• Sterilization and management of instruments.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of Ortho Sterilization area.
• Maintain sterilization equipment, suction lines, traps, and DUWL.
• Responsible for assisting students and faculty while treating live patients in Orthodontics.

Skills/Requirements:

• Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
• Sterilization and handling of instruments, break-down and set-up of units.
• OSHA standards, HIPAA regulations, suction lines, traps.
• Must be x-ray certified (If not currently certified by DANB, certification must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment)
• DUWL, basic chairside assisting skills.
