OSU-Cascades in Bend, Oregon invites applications for a full-time 1.0 FTE, 12-month tenure-track, Assistant or Associate professor starting on July 1, 2021.  Duties include conducting research and external funding, teaching and advising graduate students and providing service to OSU-Cascades.  Requirements include an earned doctoral degree in Counselor Education from a CACREP-accredited program, or have related doctoral degrees and have been employed as full-time faculty members in a counselor education program for a minimum of one full academic year before July 1, 2013, evidence of the following: counseling professional identity; an active and productive research program; successful teaching and advising of counseling student, possess, or is eligible for licensure/certification as a professional counsel or school counselor. Appointment is anticipated at the Assistant Professor level, but candidates with exceptional qualifications may be considered for appointment as Associate Professor.

OSU-Cascades, located in Bend, Oregon, is a branch campus of Oregon State University. Established in 2001, OSU-Cascades currently enrolls more than 1,200 students in bachelor’s and master’s degree programs. The campus expanded to a four-year university in 2015, opened its 10-acre campus in fall 2016, and the Oregon legislature approved additional funding in 2017 and 2018 for continued campus expansion, which is currently in progress. The branch campus has ambitious enrollment goals to reach 3,000 students and is engaged in building a culturally diverse and community-centric educational environment.
