PEDIATRIC PRIMARY CARE POSITIONS AVAILABLE
The Texas Children's Health Plan is committed to providing high quality health care services to pediatric patients eligible for Medicaid and CHIP in the greater Houston area. In order to best achieve this goal, the Health Plan has opened community clinics to serve up to 25,000 pediatric patients. The clinics are integrated with dentistry, optometry, OB/Gyn, pharmacy and behavioral health services. The practice model is a team based, family centered approach with data driven quality improvement as a core tenet.
Providers working in the Center will have faculty appointments in the Baylor College of Medicine Department of Pediatrics in the Section of Academic General Pediatrics. There will be opportunities for scholarship in operational research, quality improvement and health professional education.
If being a change leader in the way pediatric care is delivered to families with limited resources in the Houston area interests you, please contact: Stephanie Marton, MD ( samarton@texaschildrens.org ) to discuss the positions further.
