General Summary/Purpose
Reporting to the Director of Integrated and Digital Marketing, the Enrollment Marketing Specialistsupports the development, planning, and execution of data-driven marketing strategies to support Johns Hopkins Carey Business School enrollment goals for all degree programs and Executive Education non-credit courses.S/He will also serve as the project lead for incoming marketing requests and projects for Admissions, Academic Programs and Executive Education.
The Enrollment Marketing Specialist works in an environment with tight deadlines. This person needs to excel at project management (balancing multiple projects at onceand managing detailed timelines), understand and align marketing with the student mindset, andmust be able to work as an integral cross functional team member.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Marketing
- Ensure effective development and execution of enrollment marketing projects and campaigns.
- Serve as the lead for all marketing communications within Admissions CRM system (Slate).
- Organize and coordinate annual updates to marketing communication plans, email templates, and relevant print materials for Admissions and Executive Education.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, public relations, communications, or related field.
- Two years of related experience required.
- Advanced degree may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
* JHU Equivalency Formula:30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college course work may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job. *
- Proven project management and organizational skills with experience balancing multiple projects and deadlines at one time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office necessary.
- Must maintain a professional working relationship with faculty, students and staff.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Self-directed and
self-motivated.
Preferred Qualifications
- Three or more years of relevant experience, preferably in higher education preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with the Technolutions Slate CRM platform a plus.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics.

- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent time-management skills, along with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Working knowledge of or interest in, executing paid advertising campaigns.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work creatively with a small, close-knit team on a variety of school-wide projects.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Knowledge in higher education trends and market.
- Adapts to workload and working conditions while maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor.

The pre-employment physical for positions in clinical areas, laboratories, working with research subjects, or involving community contact requires documentation of immune status against Rubella (German measles), Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Varicella (chickenpox), Hepatitis B and documentation of having received the Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) vaccination. This may include documentation of having two (2) MMR vaccines; two (2) Varicella vaccines; or antibody status to these diseases from laboratory testing. Blood tests for immunities to these diseases are ordinarily included in the pre-employment physical exam except for those employees who provide results of blood tests or immunization documentation from their own health care providers. Any vaccinations required for these diseases will be given at no cost in our Occupational Health office.
