The School of Nursing invites applications for a part-time clinical faculty position in the Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner Track. Part-time clinical faculty members are utilized as needed on a semester-by-semester basis.
• Responsibilities include clinical observation and evaluation of graduate FNP nursing students in outpatient primary care settings. The clinical agencies are located throughout Oregon.
• Responsibilities also include oversight of student clinical hours and evaluation of clinical progression.
• Act as the liaison for the university with the clinical agency in conjunction with the lead faculty on the course.
• Responsible for conducting up to three site visits per semester to check on student’s progression in the clinical setting.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Master of Science in Nursing
• Unencumbered RN and FNP licenses in the state of Oregon
• Hold current national certification as an FNP from ANCC or AANP
Preferred Qualifications
• Terminal degree appropriate for the discipline. Terminal degree refers to the highest degree awarded in a discipline. The doctorate is the terminal degree for most disciplines represented at Auburn University at Montgomery.
