About the Opportunity:
The Supply Chain and Information Management (SCIM) Group in D'Amore-McKim School of Business (DMSB), and Bouve College of Health Sciences (BCHS) at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts invite applications for a joint tenure track or tenured appointment as assistant or associate professor. We are seeking outstanding faculty with expertise in healthcare operations/supply chain, healthcare analytics, healthcare management systems, and/or pharmaceutical supply chain, starting in Fall 2021. The successful candidate will have a primary appointment in the SCIM Group and depending on the candidate's research and teaching interests, they will have a joint appointment in either the School of Pharmacy or the Department of Health Sciences in Bouve College.

Responsibilities:
This interdisciplinary appointment brings an unparallel opportunity to join a dynamic research environment that values effective collaborations across disciplines. The hired candidate's responsibilities include conducting high-quality interdisciplinary research, teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, supporting current and planned education and accredited professional programs, and providing service to the University, its colleges, and departments.

Qualifications:
Candidates are expected to hold a doctorate in Operations/Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Management/Systems, Information Management, Business Analytics or a related field by the appointment start date. To be considered for the rank of assistant professor, candidates must have demonstrated significant research potential and be committed to teaching excellence at the undergraduate and graduate level. To be considered for the rank of associate professor, candidates should have a strong research record including publications in top tier journals, demonstrated excellence in teaching, as well as service and leadership. All candidates must have a commitment to promoting the success of our diverse student population as well as working in culturally diverse educational environments.

About Supply Chain Information Management Group (SCIM) and D'Amore-McKim School of Business
The SCIM Group currently has 8 tenured or tenure-track faculty, 14 full-time non-tenure track faculty, and 3 full-time visiting faculty. The Group emphasizes a strong research program that targets top-tier journals and a strong commitment to teaching excellence. The D'Amore-McKim School of Business has 183 full-time faculty, two thirds of whom are tenured or tenure-track. DMSB faculty are routinely recognized for excellence in research and business education. As of Fall 2019, DMSB had 5,583 total students (4,292 undergraduate students and 1,291 graduate students). About Bouve College
The Bouve College of Health Sciences has over 200 faculty members, with approximately 2,000 undergraduate and 2,400 graduate students. It is the leading national model for education and research in the health, psychosocial and biomedical sciences.

The Department of Health Sciences is an interdisciplinary department in the Bouve College of Health Sciences. We provide a world-class education in a broad range of public health and clinical careers that promote the health and well-being of individuals, communities, and populations in culturally diverse contexts. The Department has over 40 faculty and offers accredited undergraduate program in Health Sciences, three masters programs and two doctoral programs (PhDs in Population Health and Personal Health Informatics)

The School of Pharmacy within Bouve College of Health Sciences is recognized as a leader and innovator in training and education of practice-ready pharmacists (Pharm.D.) and pharmaceutical scientists (B.S., M.S., and Ph.D.). Training in basic and clinical sciences extends from baccalaureate through doctoral degree programs, including a recently formed dual-degree program in public health.
