Online Instructor Pool - MS in eLearning

Position Available: One or more temporary, part-time lecturers for a pool from which instructors will be considered for appointments as they become available.

Duties of the Position: The MS in eLearning program is seeking part-time lecturers to teach online courses. Most courses in the MS in eLearning program at CSUEB are 8 or 9 weeks. Assignment include courses in Online Teaching & Learning, Online Instructional Methods, Online Learning Technology, Curriculum Design for Online Learning, Online Program Administration and Supervision, Multimedia, Content Development, and Learning Design.

Rank and Salary: Lecturer salary is dependent upon educational preparation and experience. Position is subject to budgetary authorization.

Date of appointment: Spring 2021; Summer 2021; Fall 2021

Minimum Degree Requirement and Qualifications: Educational Specialist Degree or Doctorate Degree in Education or Related Field.

Teaching Experience or Work Experience: Teaching or relevant working experience in K-12, higher education, or cooperate training setting; advanced knowledge relative to course assignment, understanding of how adults learning; current knowledge of eLearning industry and innovation, demonstrated ability to teach and facilitate online course; good written and oral communication skills; commitment to personal and professional lifelong learning; and willingness to be available and accessible to candidates.
