The University of Nebraska seeks an innovative, collaborative leader to serve as its Assistant Vice President (AVP) and Chief Procurement Officer (CPO).  This is a significant leadership opportunity for an experienced professional to formulate strategy and direct a Procure-to-Pay (P2P) organization.  The position reports to the University’s Vice President for Business and Finance/CFO.

To become more efficient and effective, the University is transforming from a decentralized procurement model to a Center-led P2P model for the four campuses and Central Administration office.  The AVP-CPO will have direct responsibility for University-wide procurement strategy and category management; contract administration; procurement operations; supplier management; and a unified payments area.
