The Department of Economics at Auburn University at Montgomery invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Economics to begin in August 2021.

Candidates for the Economics position must have the Ph.D. completed by May 2021. The primary field of interest is Health Economics. Besides teaching Health Economics courses, exceptional candidates must demonstrate the ability to teach other courses in the undergraduate and masters programs, along with contribute to some of the department’s interdisciplinary programs.

Successful candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in their areas of expertise, develop and maintain an active research program that allows for student involvement, academically advise economics majors, and provide service to the department, college, and university. We value colleagues interested in developing innovative educational experiences and programs to better serve students.
