Job Summary

The College of Liberal Arts ( CLA ) is seeking applicants to support the College as an Endpoint Support Analyst. This position provides high-quality customer service through courteous and professional communication. Supports and maintains effective relationships with consistent follow-up and documentation. Under the supervision of the IT Manager and in consultation with other IT professionals on the team, provides technical support to the faculty and staff of CLA to resolve moderately complex first-tier desktop software, application, and communication issues in an efficient and timely manner.
Provides timely resolution of problem or escalation on behalf of the client by maintaining strong working relationships with IT professionals in other areas.

Essential Functions

Assist in CLA workshops. Continual development in education workshops and conferences. Maintains digital maintenance logs for the computer work as completed. Thoroughly and accurately documents request history and routes advanced second- and third- tier requests to the appropriate technical personnel. Performs deployments of operating systems and applications via Microsoft Deployment Toolkit Environment and JAMF for Macs. Attends appropriate meetings, workshops, and seminars for personal Professional Development. Provides Tier 1 and/or Tier 2 support with clientele of differing backgrounds and technical abilities. Serves on committees as assigned. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements for Additional Job Levels

Info Tech Specialist III requires a High School diploma or equivalent plus 4 or more years of experience. Typical salaries range from $42,000 to $52,000.
Info Tech Specialist IV requires a High School diploma or equivalent plus 5 years of experience. Typical salaries range from $53,000 – $65,000.
Experience must include at least 1 year at the preceding level or equivalent
