Develop and manage original social media posts, develop content ideas that cover CTE career exploration events and students.
- Create concise, appealing content to promote CTE career exploration events and students.
- Ensure consistency (style, fonts, images and tone) in writing across multiple platforms.
- Obtain a thorough understanding of various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.)
- Brainstorm and collaborate with program chairs and support staff for new ideas and strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms to ensure maximum effectiveness.
- Research audience preferences and discover current trends.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED:
EXPERIENCE
One to three years' proven experience as a social media
specialist or similar role required.
Excellent writing and editing skills in English; familiarity with
keyword placement required.
Creative thinker and planner required.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and
Excel) required.
Expertise in multiple social media platforms, including LinkedIn,
Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram required.
EDUCATION
Associates degree or equivalent years of experience required.
