Senior Lecturer of Construction Management

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for three, nine-month, non-tenure track, Senior Lecturer of Construction Management faculty positions beginning August 2021.

 

The department seeks candidates who strive for excellence in teaching. The successful candidate is expected to teach a broad range of courses in construction management at both graduate and undergraduate levels. We are especially interested in candidates with strong teaching interest in, but not limited to, construction safety, construction materials and methods, construction graphics, construction technology, computer applications, project management, estimating, scheduling, land development and residential construction.

 

Other responsibilities may include:

  • Student advising and supervision
  • Working with a diverse community of students and faculty 

 

Required Qualifications Include:

  • An earned Master’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field; or a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering with a Master of Business Administration, or its foreign equivalent
  • A minimum three years of appropriate U.S. construction management experience 

 

Other qualifications might include:

  • A minimum of five years U.S. construction management experience
  • Evidence of teaching and/or professional experience working with a culturally and an ethnically diverse community
  • Experience teaching on-line or hybrid courses
  • CCM certification, PMP certification, OSHA Authorized Trainer, or advanced education, certification, professional registration, licensure, and other relevant credentials
