Job Description:

The Urban Scholars Initiative (USI) program assists talented and dedicated students fulfill their dream of completing a college degree. Students complete their undergraduate degree with modest or no loan debt for tuition; however, USI is more than just a scholarship. Whatever students need, whether it is learning to manage their time, navigating college life, or receiving tutoring help, the Urban Scholars Initiative program helps its students find it. Several community-based organizations that provide youth with academic support, mentorship, scholarships, and other services have become our partners in the Urban Scholars Initiative. These participating organizations share our goal in helping under-resourced students gain access to, and succeed in, college.

Lesley seeks a Student Success Coach of the Urban Scholars Initiative, who will serve to recruit, advise, mentor, and support USI students and USI affiliated students.

The selected individual will be responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of success strategies, carrying an appropriate advising load, and maintaining effective periodic communication with community-based partners.
