The Coordinator of Summer Programs is responsible for the planning and administration of summer academic and sports camps for high school students. This includes the hiring and supervision of summer camp staff and summer work crew if necessary.
Responsibilities:
Plan and Administer Summer Programs:
- With Marketing & Communications, develop and implement marketing plan.
- Recruit and admit campers.
- Coordinate all aspects of campus logistics, if applicable
- Ensure compliance with DOH regulations.
- Hire and supervise summer personnel, if needed.
- Support remote delivery arrangements, if applicable.
Requirements:
- 3 years experience in event planning and/or public relations desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and inter-personal skills, as well as the ability to communicate clearly in writing and in person.
- The ability to work on multiple deadline-driven projects is essential. Knowledge of Emergency Response Protocol is helpful.
