The Registrar’s Office is a unit within the Division of Academic Affairs and is responsible for managing a variety of academic functions that relate to Student Records Management, Registration, Class Scheduling, Student Transcripts, Degree Auditing processes, Verification of Enrollment and Degrees granted. The Registrar’s Office serves as an advisor to the Division of Academic Affairs in regards to policies and procedures for the University Catalog and maintains an updated student database for the compilation of reports for the office, University and UNC System Office.
The Registrar manages a complex organization and oversees a portfolio of responsibilities with a focus on advancing academic initiatives, supporting the academic enterprise, and promoting the overall mission of the University while serving as a leader within the division. The Registrar provides information and actionable data to shape institutional discussions, trends, policies, procedures, security, and strategic practices in support and advancement of the academic mission.
Requirements: A Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with five to seven years in higher education with at least three years of direct leadership experience working in a Registrar’s Office. Significant, documented, progressive leadership experience in registrar-related duties within a higher education institution are required.
