Position Summary:

This part-time position will primarily provide support to the 4-H program in the University of Wisconsin Madison Division of Extension Buffalo County. Primary responsibilities include providing support to 4-H volunteers, assist in carrying out Wisconsin 4-H program directives, and supporting the 4-H Youth Development Educator in educational programming. Building and maintaining effective working relationships with Extension educators, support staff, and volunteers is essential to support effective programming and the Extension Mission.

The primary accountability relationship for this position is with the Area Extension Director (hiring authority) under the direct supervision of the 4-H Youth Educator.

TO BE CONSIDERED ELIGIBLE FOR THIS POSITION YOU MUST MEET ALL OF THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1 Education and experience with standard office software programs such as: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud and various web browsers
2. Evidence of ability to communicate ideas effectively orally, in writing, and through educational technology
3. Strong organization skills and attention to details
4. Evidence of effectively working independently and in a team environment
5. Capacity in a wide range of communication tools and technical platforms, such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Word Press
6. Ability and desire to learn and manage new technology platforms
7. Ability to interact and work with a range of individuals with a high-level of professionalism, flexibility, judgement and tact.
