Assistant Professor - Accounting/Business

Job Summary: The Division of Professional Studies seeks qualified candidates for a full-time faculty position in the areas of accounting and business. Teaching responsibilities shall include financial, managerial and intermediate accounting courses. Successful candidates must demonstrate a willingness to teach courses beyond their immediate area of expertise including cross discipline courses in business and business law. Faculty appointments are for a ten-month contract period and the normal teaching load is twelve credit hours per semester. Student advisement and participation on college committees are required. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Final appointments are budget dependent.

Requirements/Qualifications: Minimum of a Master’s degree in accounting with an active U.S. CPA license and accounting experience; terminal degree and public accounting experience preferred; “CGMA” or “CFE” designation a plus. Demonstrated commitment to community service, business and community outreach and continued professional development.
