Vacancy Number: S-00668 Position Title: Senior Student Health Services Program Associate Classification Title: Senior Program Associate Department: Student Health Services Employment Type: Full-Time Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist and help coordinate AUMazing Health Fair.

Assist the Director and Billing Coordinator with billing and coding.

Perform Secretarial duties for unit meetings.

Coordinate clinic activities daily.

Answer and return phone calls, arrange patient appointments, and maintain patient follow-up.

Reconcile daily intake of funds and management of subsequent deposits.

Prepare visa account reconciliations, prepare and submit vouchers, and manage credits.

Manage inventory of purchase and request of office supplies.

Maintain and utilize office equipment.

Arrange and schedule meetings, conference travel.

Prepare reports, letters, and other related documents.

Collaborate with Nurse Practitioner and office staff

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of basic word processing software and the ability to operate standard PC/PC software applications
Knowledge of scope, guidelines, and operation of departmental or unit program
Knowledge of assigned department forms, rules, etc.
Knowledge of record-keeping procedures
Knowledge of applicable university policies and procedures
Ability to perform basic mathematical computations
Interpersonal skills
Oral and written communication skills
Ability to review materials and identify discrepancies or mistakes (i.e., proofreading)
Ability to respond to several demands at one time
Ability to maintain records
Ability to provide information and assistance to assigned staff and customers
Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate activities and the work of others
Analytical and problem solving skills

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent and three (3) years of medical office experience. Medical billing and coding experience preferred.
Experience with EHR preferred.
