Applicants should complement, not duplicate, current expertise of the department. The candidate will also have an opportunity to work with the Asian and Middle East Studies interdisciplinary major.

Cover letter should discuss teaching experience, with specific examples of innovative assignments and approaches; information on ways that issues and practices related to diversity, inclusion, and equity have been or will be included in teaching and advising; and the candidate’s research agenda, including current and future projects. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Art History in hand by June 1, 2021. Review of applications will begin January 8, 2021 and will continue until the position is filled.
