Job Description:

The Department of Marketing at Fairfield University invites applications for a non -tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor of Practice level in the Dolan School of Business to begin Fall 2021. The appointment requires teaching classes at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Teaching assignments may include teaching day, evening, face-to-face, hybrid, online, and/or Saturday classes, as needed. Strong applicants should be versatile, with an ability to teach a variety of marketing courses, and should show a commitment to innovation and demonstrated excellence in using technology in the classroom. Candidates with expertise in Marketing Analytics and Strategy and/or industry experience are especially encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include:

  • Teaching four courses each semester at the undergraduate and graduate level.
  • Advising students and providing career guidance.
  • Contributing to course, curriculum, and program development.
  • Providing service to the department, the Dolan School of Business, the university, and the community at-large as necessary and appropriate.


Qualifications :

Candidates, at minimum, must have an M.S. or M.B.A in business or related field from an accredited institution. PhDs, DBAs or PhD candidates, with relevant industry experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
