Enrollment Recruiter- Graduate Programs

Buena Vista University has an opening for an Enrollment Recruiter located on the Storm Lake campus. This position supports an innovative and holistic approach to providing prospective and current students with the assistance, guidance, and resources necessary to be successful as a Buena Vista University graduate student from inquiry through graduation. The primary responsibilities of this position are to develop new leads, maintain a recruitment territory, promote BVU in the community, and attend events. It is critical for this position to have the ability to build strong relationships with prospective and current students through extensive outreach utilizing phone contacts, texting, and emails. In addition, the position will proactively work in collaboration with Graduate Program Directors on retention strategies and efforts for currently enrolled students in the graduate programs.

The position requires a high degree of professionalism, collaboration, and attention to detail with a sense of urgency about providing excellent service to all stakeholders and ability to manage resources effectively. Strong written and oral communication skills are necessary along with an ability to work in multiple systems. Ability to establish and achieve priorities in a fast-paced environment required. Must also be able to develop and maintain positive and effective professional relationships. This position will require some travel to meet with constituents within schools, businesses, and hosting events.

Bachelor’s degree is required and 2-5 years of excellence in customer service preferred. A background check will be conducted on the final candidate.
