Position Summary:

This position is located within the WisCARES (Wisconsin Companion Animal Resources, Education, and Social Services) program and will function as an outreach specialist to assist clients and patients accessing WisCARES Homeless Support Services to connect with existing internal and external resources. This position works closely with a team of interdisciplinary staff and reports to the Director.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's Degree required.

Master's Degree Preferred.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Ability to work with internal and external social service resources.

Ability to work unsupervised and in an active and dynamic team environment.

Experience working with the homeless, low income, and/or housing insecure populations.

Ability for creative problem solving.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
