Position Summary:

Teach introductory astronomy course Astronomy 103, "The Evolving Universe: Stars, Galaxies, and Cosmology" during Spring semester 2020-2021.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Minimum of M.S. in astronomy, astrophysics, physics, or history of science required.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Ongoing studies in astronomy and astrophysics and previous teaching experience at college/university level preferred.

Additional Information:

There is a possibility this position could be extended in subsequent semesters to teach the course listed on this PVL, or similar courses within the department. This position may become renewable if there is a need for an ongoing appointment.
