The Department of Decision and Information Sciences (DISC) in C. T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston seeks qualified applicants for a tenure-track faculty position in Business Analytics as this domain relates to the Management Information Systems (MIS) discipline.

Ideal applicants will have strong modeling, quantitative, and data management skills, and experience or research that relates to strategic areas of focus for the College particularly business analytics and healthcare administration. Desirable applicants will also be boundary spanners within other areas of our department (MIS and SCM). Experience in mentoring women and minorities in STEM fields is desirable. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in MIS, Business Analytics, or a closely related discipline. The start date for a hired applicant will be Fall 2021. This search is open to rank. A hired applicant will have to (a) publish in top-tier and highly respected journals, (b) contribute to the mentoring and development of Ph.D. students and (c) teach graduate and undergraduate courses.
