Dr. Kan Shao’s Computational Risk Assessment Laboratory (https://kshao.pages.iu.edu/) in the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health at Indiana University School of Public Health‐Bloomington invites applicants for a postdoctoral fellow supported by an NIH/NIEHS grant. The successful candidate will develop advanced computational and statistical (Bayesian) methods to model epidemiological dose‐response data for benchmark dose estimation to support chemical risk assessment. The candidate will be involved in a dynamic and multidisciplinary research group and have opportunities to participate in educational activities in the lab. The postdoc fellow will be co‐advised by Dr. Kan Shao and Dr. Pengcheng Xun in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at IUB. Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, but applications received by December 6, 2020 will be given full consideration and the search will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.   This 2‐year appointment has an anticipated start date of January 4, 2021, and has the potential for renewal if mutually agreeable. Salary is commensurate with NIH guidelines for postdoc salary.
