Minimum Qualifications: 

 • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. 
• Experience working with victims of domestic and/or sexual violence. 
• Experience with grant implementation, project management and management protocols. 
• Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively with students, faculty and staff, as well as external constituents. 
• Must be team oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively. 
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to tolerate ambiguity, handle interruptions, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications: 


• Master’s degree from an accredited university or college. 
• Two years of experience working with victims of domestic and/or sexual violence. 
• Experience working with federal grant projects. 
• Experience working in an institute of higher education


General Function: 

The OVW Grant Project Director will work from the Smyrna campus and is responsible for the day-to-day activities necessary for the implementation of the grant project plan at Motlow State Community College. This individual works with multiple agencies within the scope of the OVW Grant project to provide direction, compliance, and reporting obligations. 
The Director must be able to interpret and analyze DOJ-OVW (Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women), MSCC, and other guidelines in addition to the resultant project plan and apply this information in order to carry out the following responsibilities: 
This is a full-time position related to the Department of Justice – Office on Violence Against Women Campus Program Grant project beginning in January 2021 and ending in December 2023. Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Take directive from the Principal Investigator and Co-Principal Investigator and ensure grant activities and requirements are completed accurately and on time. 
Serve as the lead for the project implementation plan including tracking activities, progress, deadlines, and deliverables to inform and update the plan. 
Provide a monthly status update report to the OVW grant team and external stakeholders. 
Coordinate and hold quarterly Coordinated Community Response (CCR) Team meetings with internal and external stakeholders. 
Oversight of day-to-day grant activities including administration of electronic grant management system, development of detailed task lists, assistance with budget reconciliation, compilation of reports, and data collection and reporting. 
Maintain communication with OVC Grant team and external stakeholders in a timely and effective manner. 
Travel to multiple campuses as assigned. 
Other duties as assigned.
