Elmhurst University invites applications for a professional track assistant professor in the Department of Business and Economics in the areas of Accounting/Finance. Professional track is a non-tenure position, renewable annually with no limit on successive appointments.
Main teaching responsibilities include introductory courses such as financial accounting, managerial accounting, and business finance, as well as upper division electives within the field. Evidence of outstanding teaching or teaching potential is essential.
Candidates should have a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment for a diverse student body. Master’s degree is required in Accounting or Finance; or MBA with specialization in Accounting or Finance
Licensed CPA and/or a PhD in the relevant field preferred
The teaching load is six courses per year.
